I want to thank all of you for purchasing my books. It’s such a wonderful feeling to hear when a parent say “ My child loves your book, I have to read it to them over and over”.
I write so that I can share my stories with the world, in the hope of “inspiring minds, one book at a time”
Lets be real, as parents we want the best for our children. What parent especially grandparent like myself who does not like to share stories with others and how smart and intelligent their children are. How can we as parents, grandparents contribute to our children academic success? We can begin by reading books to our children.
Books are powerful, they benefit children in so many ways. As a parent, reading to your child is one of the most important things you can do to prepare them with a foundation for academic excellence. That foundation will help them later on with math, science and also to grasp social concepts.
Your child will learn early that reading is fun and not a chore. When your child grows up, you will not be stressed about getting him to read, as reading has become, for him, a pleasurable habit and a value that will last for a life time. I encourage you to continue to read to your kids, or have them read to you.
Remember, reading time is bonding time. Cozy up and enjoy all your adventures in story land. They will take you places you have never dreamt of.
I am Janet Campbell saying “Buy a book and read to your child today!
A book can put a smile on your face.
